Comedian, actor and writer Ellie Taylor has been announced as the latest in a long line of top name artists to host the G-Awards.

Ellie, well-known for regular appearances on The Mash Report, Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo and many others, will take the stage at the gala dinner at the London Hilton Park Lane later this month and present the trophies to all the G21 Award winners at the special event celebrating their achievements over the two years of the pandemic.

As well as her many TV and radio appearances, Ellie’s most recent stand-up tour, Don’t Got This went nationwide in 2019. She was one of five UK comedians to be featured in Netflix’s trailblazing Comedians Of The World series, with her special Cravings premiering on New Year’s Day 2019. As part of the core cast of the hit satirical show The Mash Report, her clips have become worldwide viral hits, notching up close to 60 million views online and being shared by Madonna. She can also be seen as Sassy in the award-winning AppleTV series Ted Lasso alongside Jason Sudeikis.

A regular guest on panel shows including Mock The Week (BBC 2), Would I Lie To You (BBC 1), and QI (BBC 2), Ellie has hosted Live At The Apollo (BBC 2), as well as appearing on Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit (Dave), Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (Dave), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (C4), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Virtually Famous (E4) and The John Bishop Show (BBC 1).

Her first book My Child and Other Mistakes was published by Hodder Studio in July 2021 and immediately hit the Sunday Times Top 10 Best Seller list.

The G21 Gala Dinner and Awards event will take place at the London Hilton Park Lane on Friday November 26. A few seats are still available but going fast.
