Nationwide Windows & Doors has been shortlisted in the Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m) category in the 2024 Made in the Midlands Awards.

Organised by Insider Media Limited and now in its 14th year, the event sees more than 40 businesses vying for prizes in 11 categories. Other finalists include automotive giant Toyota and space technology specialist XCAM.

Insider deputy editor Ian Griffin said: “This year’s Made in the Midlands Awards has once again attracted a strong range of entries – everything from new businesses with a handful of staff to one of the world’s best-known manufacturers.

“The shortlists represent not just the best, but the very best, of what Midland manufacturing has to offer the world.”

Nationwide manufactures and installs more than 2,500 glazing products per week, fabricating everything in-house at its 152,000 sq ft manufacturing site in Rugby.

Managing Director John Whalley said: “I believe that the Midlands is the very heartbeat of manufacturing in the UK and we’re proud to be a big part of that. We’re looking forward to the ceremony and I’d like to wish the best of luck to all the shortlisted businesses.”
