Fentrade has added bespoke upgrades to its LogiKal software operating system from BM Aluminium.

The upgrades will result in a faster turnaround time on quotations and order acknowledgements, along with easier to read paperwork. From a production perspective, the system will further integrate with Fentrade’s supply chain to provide more efficiencies across the fabrication process.

Director Chris Reeks said: “We’ve worked with BM Aluminium and used LogiKal, the leading software for the aluminium glazing industry right from the start. As our business continues to grow, we wanted to explore how to make the most of the software to continue to offer an exceptional level of service to our customers.”

BM Aluminium technical manager Daniel Hodges said: “Fentrade Aluminium were already utilising the majority of the standard LogiKal functionality. After meeting with them, we identified bespoke programming requirements to integrate third party supplier hardware and parts. Further benefits include accurate procurement outputs along with future fabrication benefits when using the LogiKal CNC interface.”
