Ultraframe says fitters can save up to half a day with a new rapid rail system it has added to its Flat Roof.
The addition is factory-fitted to the Flat Roof perimeter OSB fascia and upstand, resulting in fewer parts, fixings and set out requirements, equating to a saving of up to half a day on each installation, along with a simpler install, says the manufacturer.
Solid roofs product manager Mark Bowler said: “We are committed to continually improving our range of products and this change has been introduced based on feedback from installers relating to the fitting of the joist hangers. The rapid rail system not only saves valuable time on site, but also means that the process of installing our Flat Roof is now even simpler.”
