Sternfenster has been nominated for Fabricator of the Year and Best Customer Care Initiative at the G21 Awards.

The Lincoln based manufacturer has continued to invest in product and service over the last 18-months. This has included additional support for customers and the development of new digital tools to enable installers to operate remotely and more efficiently, plus investment of over £1m in machinery, transport and staff.

Sternfenster also implemented a number of measures to reward the efforts of its workforce, including new initiatives to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Managing Director Mike Parczuk, pictured, said: “The conditions imposed by lockdown, combined with exceptional high demand, material shortages, price increases and the ‘pingdemic’ have resulted in arguably the most challenging period the industry has ever experienced.

“As one of the first fabricators to open up out of lockdown, we have worked incredibly hard to communicate with and support our customers. We even developed a real time production planning system, giving complete transparency of the capacity of our entire product range, that was introduced into our Sternfenster Plus portal.”

He concluded: “As a business, we’ve continued to push forward, to do the utmost for our customers despite the challenges we’ve faced. Ultimately, it wouldn’t have been possible without the exceptional people we have at Sternfenster – to be nominated for both Fabricator of the Year and Best Customer Care Initiative at the G21 Awards, is a testament to their dedication and hard work.”
