UK Doors Online has been announced as a finalist in the category of ‘Best Fabricator’ in this years’ G-Awards.

Managing director Andrew Glover said: “We’re really pleased to be finalists in this year’s G-Awards for Best Fabricator. In less than two years, we’ve taken a business from nothing to something and it’s great to see that our efforts have been recognised and we are in with a chance of winning a great award.

“Looking forward to the final inspection, so we can really show off how good we are! Although there are other amazing finalists too. Well done to all that have got through this far.”

The West Yorkshire-based company appeared on the scene in July last year, in the midst of a challenging landscape for the industry, rocked by multiple lockdowns, shortages and supply chain issues.

The MD said the business grew by constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate in all areas, including addressing the industry-wide skills shortage by adopting the Government’s Kick Start scheme to bring fresh people to the industry and help young people out of unemployment.

UK Doors Online have also assisted other businesses with set up, growth, marketing and training by sharing best practice and knowledge, proving they’re not just about the business, but also help other businesses grow as they do, while caring for and supporting their workforce.
