Statement: Spectus/Dekura trade/customer statement

A proposal to move some production from our Spectus Macclesfield manufacturing operation to Telford, is currently under consideration.

Compensation claim from solar companies

Three solar companies are claiming compensation of £2.2m from the government for losses incurred as a result of ministers' botched attempts to cut subsidies for green electricity generators last October.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change today confirmed a claim had been made by Crystal Windows & Doors Limited, Solar Power PV Limited and Solarlec PV Solutions Limited, adding only that the government "is currently considering this claim and will respond to it in due course".

Fullex ‘building’ on growth

Fullex Locks are building on the recent growth achieved with a move into much larger premises. They are taking on a bigger base at The Pensnett Estate in Kingswinford, and doubling its warehousing and office space to cope with the additional workload.

The current Fullex range incorporates seven PAS24 and Secured by Design high security residential door looks, supplying window and door manufacturers, large national distributors, local authorities and housing associations who specify its products for social housing.

Ian Southall of Fullex said: “Our success has come despite the fact that the housing market continues to be depressed. “We needed much more room to expand and did not want to leave Pensnett. We have been here for many years and have a skilled and loyal workforce which we would not want to disrupt.
