Alumen Adds Schueco

Alumen Ltd, the aluminium door and window sister company to GRP Designs, is pleased to announce the addition of the Schueco profile to its existing range of Smart products. Alan Robinson, Director of Alumen, explains what this means for customers: “We supply a lot of specialist garden room installers as well as trade installers and across the board our customers are seeing an increase in demand for quality aluminium products – particularly bi-folding doors. Whether installed in a house in the country, a London flat or a garden room, aluminium bi-fold doors continue to grow in popularity as they allow homeowners a more flexible living space that combines indoor and outdoor living – something we often see in aspirational lifestyle magazines or on home design TV programmes.

“We have seen great success with the supply of our range of Smart products but wanted to give our customers even more choice and as Schueco is a world class leader in energy efficient technology, we are pleased to be one of only a select number of UK fabricators in the UK able to offer the Schueco range of bifolding sliding doors with features such as adjustable jambs and ultra slim sightlines. This addition makes us one of the few bifold manufacturers too with a showroom where people can compare the systems side by side in one place.
