DGCOS is FIT for purpose
24th July 2012
The Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme is going to the FIT show.
Tony Pickup, founder of DGCOS, “It’s looking like it will be the biggest event of 2013 for installers and fabricators, the first time the industry has had the chance to get together for a couple of years. It’s the ideal opportunity for DGCOS to meet installers, share success stories and highlight what consumers really think of the scheme.
“Even though 93% of windows, conservatories and doors are installed to the satisfaction of customers the industry historically has a poor image. DGCOS helps installers overcome this prejudice, by providing confidence and comprehensive protection for consumers. DGCOS has also built up a solid track record of solving problems quickly, directly and fairly - and before they need resolving by the Ombudsman. Membership of DGCOS helps sales – homeowners recognise consumer champion Nick Ross and many members report winning jobs on the strength of DGCOS. Our mediation stories also help when the customer could be the cause of the problem. The FIT show will give us the opportunity to meet existing members and hopefully recruit new ones. We’re looking forward to it!”
Look out for DGCOS on stand 3-200 in Hall 3 by the main entrance opposite Door-Stop.
