ERA BROADENS RANGE WITH DOOR RESTRICTOR

ERA, has broadened its offering to fabricators and installers by adding an adjustable door restrictor to its portfolio of products.

With an aluminium track and universal frame bracket, the restrictor will suit most PVCu profiles. The restrictor arm, which is mounted in the sash’s eurogroove, has a slider block which moves as the door is opened. Friction is applied to prevent the door from moving beyond the pre-set angle or slamming in windy conditions and this can be adjusted with an Allen key.

The restrictor arm can be set to a defined angle, which can be adjusted to suit individual requirements, and the bracket has an additional feature which allows the set angle to be overridden if required.

The restrictor arm is made from stainless steel and the frame connector is made from zinc. The assembly meets the requirements of BS EN 1670: 2007 for corrosion resistance and the restrictor has been tested to 50,000 cycles.
