Spectus’ Safe launch and St Gobain Rebrand

Now that the country seems to have got back to work after yet another short week, this weeks Glazine features a new product launch from Spectus Systems as they take the plunge into the hardware market with their Safeware range. Designed to make a fabricators life easier, a choice of over 200 items is available.

Rebranding seems to be in vogue this week also, with St Gobain announcing a complete make over of their range of conservatory glass. The BFRC have also got in on the act, with a retitling of their DER’s( Door Energy Ratings) to DSER’s (Door Set Energy Ratings). You can read why here.

We also have a reaction from Andy Jones of Edgetech following the publication of the BFRC approved Warm Edge spacer data table, in “we have email”.

Among the many product and news items this week, we have continuing news of the G 12 Awards, and its growing importance to the glass and glazing calendar. The web site will be live in the next day or so to start receiving entries for this year’s scheme at www.g-awards.co.uk or click on the banner in the centre column.
