MUL-T-LOCK’S BREAK SECURE XP first to achieve TS007
6th June 2012

Mul-T-Lock UK’s new Break Secure XP cylinder has become the first retrofit anti-snap cylinder solution to achieve the coveted BSI Kitemark TS007 3* industry ratings.

Break Secure XP was the first to achieve the revised Diamond Level of Sold Secure SS312 Lock cylinder specification and has once again been independently tested and proven to exceed the brand new TS007 industry standards.

Introduced by the Door and Hardware Federation together with the Glass & Glazing Federation, TS007 is characterised by a star rating system where the cylinder alone, or with door furniture, must accumulate three stars to achieve the maximum security requirements for a door.

Steve Ross, Managing Director of Mul-T-Lock said: “Mul-T-Lock has always aligned new product development with the leading industry bodies and latest standards to deliver solutions that address public and industry concerns over the evolution of attack methods to cylinders

“Following on from achieving the revised Diamond Level of Sold Secure SS312, Break Secure XP with the TS007 stamp of approval is a proven industry leading product, which enables fabricators and installers to offer customers complete peace of mind and protection, with a truly retro-fit cylinder only solution.”

Break Secure XP incorporates four individual high security innovations, incorporating patent pending technology, designed to work together to provide complete anti-snap protection.

In addition to these new lines of security, the Break Secure XP cylinder has the same great features that you would expect from our market leading original Break Secure cylinder, including anti-drill, anti-screw, anti-bump and anti-pick protection.
