GGF remain cautious over Green Deal
In a statement released today, the Glass and Glazing Federation have admitted to remaining cautious as to whether the Green Deal will work for the replacement glazing industry, but equally remain committed to working with government and other relevant organisations to try to ensure Green Deal works for GGF Members regardless of size, status or profile.
In their statement the GGF have set out a nine point set of concerns, which include the exclusion of SME’s, the bureaucracy of the scheme, and its funding.
What is abundantly clear is that the GGF have invested a great deal of time, effort and expertise in the Green Deal in the hope it can work for the replacement glazing industry, and we should ignore their findings out our peril.
The statement in its entirety can be seen here...
