It’s a summer of change for Window Store, as it makes three new appointments and bids a fond farewell to one of its longest serving managers.
Dave ‘Clemo’ Clement will retire from his role as Regional Manager after 30years with the company. One of the founding members of The Window Store, Dave began his career at RD Windows, which became part of The Window Store and occupied the role of Cardiff Branch Manager before his promotion to Regional Manager 12years ago.
Dean Powell, currently Branch Manager for Cheltenham will succeed Mr. Clement aiming to replicate his predecessor’s success and his own achievements whilst with the Cheltenham branch.
Taking over the reign at the Cheltenham branch will be former Assistant Manager Brian Fisher, whilst Garry Parris Munn has been appointed to Assistant Manager.
Speaking on the new South West team and the retirement of a Window Store stalwart, General Manager Justin Davies, said: “It is always a great shame to bid farewell to someone who has been here since the company’s formation and really embodies what The Window Store is about. However, we wish Dave a very happy retirement and want to thank him for the knowledge and experience he has brought to the company, he will be missed by customers and staff alike.
“Looking to the future we have a great team that have learned a lot from Dave and are looking forward to bringing some exciting product and service changes into branches.”
Dave Clement added: “I’ve been in the window industry all my life and I’ve seen many changes, but I think the next few years will see some real milestones, so I’m pleased such an experienced and developed team is bringing these changes to The Window Store.
“I will be very sad to say goodbye to the staff and customers at The Window Store but I will definitely enjoy travelling abroad and finally getting round to working in my garden.”
