Homebuilder the Gladedale Group has become the latest developer to choose the complete building plastics solution from Eurocell by specifying Aspect bi-fold doors on its new house types.
Aspect, the innovative new range that has changed the perception of PVC-U bi-fold doors, will be installed on all new developments as well as being an option available on some existing designs.
The new house types boast the Gladedale Group’s latest specification which provides an enhanced, stylish combination of form and functionality. Featuring items which were highlighted by the Gladedale Group’s market research into what people really want when purchasing a new home, they incorporate a range of added value features, such as bi-fold doors, that appeal to the aspirational homeowner.
Sourcing windows, roofline and bi-fold doors from Eurocell will enable the Gladedale Group to create a perfectly colour-matched aesthetic on these properties, another value-added feature.
The complete building plastics solution from Eurocell also results in purchasing and distribution efficiencies for the Gladedale Group, including less administration and fewer deliveries to site.
“The first impressions of Aspect really sold the system for us and that is exactly the reaction that we were looking to create in our new house type,” said Martin Sanwell, Group Procurement Director for the Gladedale Group. “Its appeal continues to grow once you begin to look at the detailing. Quite simply, we believe it is one of the best bi-fold systems in the market.”
He added: “Sourcing windows, roofline and bi-fold doors from Eurocell not only allows us to create a more aesthetically appealing solution for our customers, but helps us achieve significant efficiencies across our business.”
Based in Dunfermline, the Gladedale Group is one of the leading private developers of residential and commercial property in the UK. The Group’s brands include Bett Homes and Manor Kingdom in Scotland, Bett Homes in the north east of England, Ben Bailey Homes across Yorkshire and the Midlands and Country and Metropolitan in the South.
The Gladedale Group has installed Aspect on a number of new-style showhouses, where it is creating a lasting impression with potential buyers, along with properties that have already been sold.
Latest of these is a three-storey townhouse in Corby, which has a 3.6m wide Aspect bi-fold door in Grey with Satin Silver hardware to meet the aspirations of homebuyers looking for value added features.
“The Gladedale Group has become the latest developer to take advantage of sourcing a high quality building plastics solution from Eurocell,” said Gary Driscoll, Head of Business Development at Eurocell. “The benefits this offers the Gladedale Group in terms of overall aesthetics will give discerning homebuyers yet another reason to invest in buying its properties.”
The windows and bi-fold doors are supplied and installed by Eurocell fabricators nationally. Estimates for roofline are carried out centrally by Eurocell and products then delivered, or collected by the Gladedale Group, from one of the 125-plus Eurocell branches.
