Emma Williams has been appointed as Administration Executive for global warm edge space bar supplier Technoform Glass Insulation (TGI).
In her new position Emma will be responsible for the day-to-day running of TGI’s recently opened UK office in Blythe Valley Business Park, Birmingham, as well as supporting the sales department.
As part of her introduction to the company, Emma flew out to Kassel, Germany, to find out more about the TGI ethos and learn how the company does business globally.
Emma comments: “I am delighted to be joining such a friendly and successful company as TGI and I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into the role, seeing the manufacturing facility for myself and of course meeting my international colleagues.”
Simon Rawlins, Head of Technoform Glass Insulation Great Britain and Ireland comments: “On behalf of TGI I would like to welcome Emma to her role and I have no doubt that she will prove a valuable member of the team as we continue to expand in into the UK market.”
Emma’s appointment sends a clear signal that TGI is stepping up its plans for growth. The company recently opened its permanent UK establishment which includes a warehouse and logistics centre - a landmark opening which means customers can now pay for orders in sterling and goods can be shipped from the UK warehouse with a lead time of 2-3 days.
