The Window Company (Contracts) has launched a new app which allows fitting teams to provide live project updates from site.

Fitters on site log into the app to record and log their Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) and installation checklists. They can also take and submit before and after photos of every job and record any snagging issues directly from the app.

Katie Thornton, Director of Compliance and Administration who has been responsible for scoping and implementing the app, explained: “Previously, we had to manually input the data on risk assessments and snagging which was time consuming and had the potential for human error. The new system is much more efficient and has the added benefit that photos taken on site are automatically allocated to the relevant address and available to view instantly.

“It’s a huge leap forward and gives us much more flexibility on the kinds of reporting we can provide to clients. It also, of course, has the potential for further additions in the future – from time sheets to accident reporting.”
