Alunet Systems has unveiled the first product of its new-found independence from Belarus-based systems supplier Alutech with the launch of the ESS47 hybrid slimline patio door system.

The company, formerly know as Alutech in the UK, severed formal ties with the supplier in order to widen its offering by seeking multiple suppliers  Rebranded Alunet completes independence from Alutech | The Glazine (the-glazine.com)

The ESS47 Hybrid Sliding Door System has single, double and triple track options and the choice of lift & slide. It has been designed for large opening sizes of up to 2.5m x 2.7m per sash and sash weight of up to 250kg, and an interlock of just 25mm.

The system also boasts features such as adjustable rollers, quick cleat fabrication with spring clip locator and an easy-to-fabricate interlock, as well as an anti-lift and bumper device all-in-one, an interlock cap that houses an anti-rattle device and spring-loaded draught excluder, a bottom track that houses a drainage channel for water run-off and rubber gaskets.

The ESS47 Hybrid Sliding Door System has been produced for Alunet by Europa of Greece. Alunet says this partnership is ‘a perfect example of new direction since its rebrand, giving access to UK fabrication businesses to the best suppliers for each product type, all available from one UK distributor’. This is the first of several planned new products launches for Alunet in 2023, which will also see a flush sash casement window system set to launch in the second quarter.

Alunet will be returning to FIT Show this year for the third time. There will be opportunity to see the new slimline sliding patio door system as well as the new flush sash casement window system and new sash for the BF73 bifold system.
