Business Micros has launched a Branded Mode for its Touch Portal online quoting and ordering system and introduced Comp Door as the first company to take it on.

Trade companies buying composite doors from Comp Door now have the option of adding a branded version of the Touch lead generation tool to their own company website which allows homeowners to design their door and enquire direct.

David Massey, Comp Door’s Head of IT, explained: “Branded Mode is linked directly to the Touch platform here, so customers can use it to take a lead all the way from enquiry to installation direct with us using their agreed pricing structure and consistent product data.

“The software doesn’t allow homeowners to generate an enquiry for a door that we can’t make either, so every lead is especially valuable and worthwhile.”

At its base in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Comp Door has implemented the Touch software platform throughout its operation. It links directly with the company’s other Business Micros software for manufacturing and business management and is helping Comp Door achieve market leading levels of efficiency.

The roll out of Touch to the 40+ big name fabricators who have already signed up to the platform is now ongoing, and the system will be live at many more businesses over the next few months. Richie Thornton, Head of Operations for Touch, said: “The response to Touch from the early adopters like Comp Door has been phenomenal. Their customers are loving it too, so we’re very confident that our long-promised Touch revolution is  finally on the way.”
