DoorCo has been announced as Component Supplier of the Year at the G-Awards ceremony, with the judges’ comment ‘No wonder this company did so well despite the pandemic’.

MD Dan Sullivan said: “To be recognised as the Component Supplier of the Year at this year’s G-Awards is a great achievement for the business but the accolade must go to the team. It is them that have driven DoorCo forward through 2021/22 and one of the toughest trading periods any of us have ever faced, supporting brave decisions and our existing plans of investment and growth, despite the multitude of challenges faced.

“Throughout, everyone has remained focused on our core values, that we are a door component supplier that delivers what our customers need to keep the composite door market fresh and innovative, from products and services to marketing and business support.”

The judges commented on the award, saying: “Bringing manufacturing in-house is one of the ways this company survived the restrictions over that last 2+ years. Investment in machinery, buildings and personnel are likely to help weather any future storms.”

Dan concluded: “We appreciate the judges’ comments. DoorCo is a more robust business than ever before with a restructured team that are shaping DoorCo with confidence for the future. Investment and growth are part of that future, and we have some exciting plans for next year.”
