Listers is sponsoring the G23 Awards. “Each year, the G-Awards becomes more and more popular, with more companies and individuals competing for 14 trophies,” said MD Roy Frost. “This makes it a truly exciting event, and it is unmatched by anything else in the industry.

“It also proves that the glass and glazing industry is packed full of innovation and forward-thinking business leaders, which is why Listers are proud to be a sponsor. We know what it takes to push yourself to the limit, and we applaud everyone who has been shortlisted for this year’s event.”

Last year, Listers’ group head of customer service Bradley Foster walked away with the Rising Star of the Year Awards, while this year operations manager Steve Greenaway (pictured) is a finalist in the Unsung Hero category.

“Steve understands every element of the business which, in the time of a skills drain in the industry, is a valuable asset for Listers,” Roy added. “Steve may have the title ‘Operations Manager’, but his reach extends from the factory floor, through to sales, product marketing and customer service. He is a fantastic communicator and he is always thinking about all elements of the business, which we all benefit from.”

Eighty-five shortlisted entries were announced across 14 categories, the winners of which will be announced at a gala dinner on November 24 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
