NorDan UK has unveiled a £50,000 refurbishment of the showroom at its Livingston headquarters alongside announcements that it is to double its residential team as well as expansion of teams including customer satisfaction and marketing.

The move follows a record year for the manufacturer when sales grew by 12% to £85million. Managing director Craig Greenwood said: “Interest in NorDan is growing quickly and people need a place where they can see the products, see how they work, understand how they perform and the benefits they provide.

“We will be organising a series of open days during the summer and the autumn where end customers such as builders and developers can see the products. But we will also be engaging with architects, who are key to choosing windows and doors, to educate them on responsible specification and how NorDan products can help reduce embodied and operational carbon, as well as offering excellent performance.”

The redevelopment of the Livingston showroom follows the company opening a permanent base in Cardiff to serve the market in Wales. There are also plans to open an office and showroom in London, as well as creating a sustainability centre at its Livingston facility.

NorDan UK is the British arm of the Norwegian founded NorDan Group, a business that turns over £450m from its European subsidiaries, employing over 2,300 people across 12 factories and 32 sales offices.
