Sales leads provider Leads 2 Trade has named The Ricky Case Trust as its nominated charity for the rest of 2023, with staff preparing to take part in the Manchester 10K and the local Saddleworth Three Peaks Challenge.

Co-founder and director Andy Royle explained why the charity is close to his heart: “An old friend of mine who I grew up with, went to school with and played football with was diagnosed with a very rare form of terminal cancer in 2019 and sadly passed away a short time after and his widow Nicola has since set up this charitable trust in his name.

“It’s the first time we have ever nominated a formal charity of the year and it will be great for the team to raise as much money as we can through the Manchester 10K and the Three Peaks Challenge, and any other smaller fundraising we do throughout the year.”

The Manchester 10k, a fast and flat route around the city taking in iconic landmarks, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Saddleworth Three Peaks walk is a challenging 15-mile circular walk on the Saddleworth Moors.
