Emplas and 75 golfing guests raised £13,465 for Niamh’s Next Step (NNS) the fabricator’s chosen charity at the second Emplas Open event, at Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire.

“Our inaugural event in 2023 was such a success that our Emplas Open has already become a firm fixture in the calendar,” said MD Ryan Johnson, “It’s a great way to spend time with our customers and thank them for their continuing business.

“Together we also managed to raise £13,465 for NNS. NNS founder, Chris Curry, who joined us for the day, lost his daughter Niamh to Neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer in 2012, and set this charity up in her memory. I am proud that we were able to raise such a large sum of money.”

Neuroblastoma affects around 100 children each year in the UK. It usually affects children under the age of five, and can occur before a child is born. NNS helps raise awareness of the condition, funds vital research, and supports children, and their families, who are suffering from the effects of the disease.
