Ace Windows, installer of premium windows and doors, based in Paisley, have once again gone the extra mile on a significant home renovation project in the area.
Initially, Ace Windows was approached by homeowners from the West End of Glasgow at their Paisley showroom. They faced the challenge of enhancing their historic home’s kerb appeal while respecting its traditional aesthetics. The solution was clear: ECOSlide PVCu sash windows from Victorian Sliders.
Understanding the importance of maintaining the heritage feel in the West End of Glasgow, Ace Windows suggested adding ‘putty lines’ to the windows. Traditionally, timber sash windows used putty, leaving distinctive lines visible on the frames. To honour this detail, Ace Windows commissioned a local artist to hand-paint putty lines onto the ECOSlide sashes.
