Thermoseal Group has been sold to Italian glass processing chemical company Fenzi
The move will see 100% of the shareholding acquired for an undisclosed sum, including facilities in Birmingham and Wigan, with current owner Gwain Paterson remaining as MD and Mark Hickox continuing as sales director.
Gwain, pictured, said the deal was an ideal fit to help with the company’s aspirations to become a global player in the IG components market with its Thermoflex and Thermobar warm edge spacer systems.
He added: “Apart from new owners everything remains the same. We have well-established supply chains and we look forward to continued business with our long-standing customers.”
Fenzi Group CEO Alessandro Fenzi said: “We welcome Thermoseal to the Fenzi family. Their expertise in IG solutions, particularly the innovative Thermoflex flexible spacer product, complements our global growth strategy.”
