Everglade Windows has been shortlisted for ‘Best Technical Innovation’ at the GGP Installer Awards 2024for its 180XLS Lift & Slide Door, one of eight new products the company launched in 2023.
“We’re really pleased to be starting the year with an award nomination, especially following our double G-Awards win,” said director Jay Patel, “Just like all of our new launches, we invested a lot of resources into extensive new product development to be able to create one of the most impressive, highly-engineered sliding doors available on the market.
“With the government’s Net Zero ambitions, coupled with consumers being more environmentally conscious, we wanted Everglade Windows to be at the forefront of delivering our customers a solution to meet these regulations and demands from homeowners.”
With energy performance levels equivalent to the Passivhaus Standard, the aïr 180XLS Lift & Slide Door boasts polyamide thermal breaks and achieves U-values from 0.8 W/m2k. It also benefits from 50mm interlocking sightlines, 2000 Pa wind resistance, sash sizes up to 3m x 3.6m, 400kg weight limit per panel, and PAS 24 certification as standard.
