Listers has launched Modus By Listers, a 75mm window that achieves Future Homes Standard (FHS) for thermal performance and includes recycled material in its core.

The Eurocell-based Modus window has a 75mm frame and sash with a 44mm triple glazed sealed unit. The system design has six equal thermal chambers and can achieve a U-value of 0.8W/m2K.

“One of the government’s proposed methods of meeting net zero by 2050 is that newbuild developers must demonstrate a 31% reduction in their carbon emissions from 2024,” said MD Roy Frost, “As a result, from 2025 it is expected that windows and doors in newbuild properties will have to achieve U-values of 0.8W/m2K or lower.

“But many developers and window companies are changing the way they work, now, rather than kicking the can down the road, and demanding this level of performance today.”

Modus is available in Listers’ full colour range, including smooth foils, on competitive leads times.

Modus windows also contain between 36% and 72% of recycled materials in the profiles, helping it to claim a lower carbon footprint than any other UK product.

It is manufactured in Listers’ Essex factory, where the company has both the ISO4001 (Environmental Management) and ISO50001 (Energy Management) accreditations.
