Gerda says it has taken the lessons learned from its debut at last year’s FIT Show in creating its offering for this year’s event.

Gerda Residential Doors, based in Poland, has worked with Gerda UK, to reflect British tastes as well as anticipating the tougher performance standards due with the impending Future Homes standard.

Gerda’s engineered construction uses steel or aluminium skins mounted on internal aluminium chassis with a PU foam core. The doors have multi point locks, three bolt main locks, anti-burglary vertical bolts, anti-theft pins and optional auxiliary locks for added security. New Fuhr hardware will be available on some models for 2023.

Pioneer Gerda will also be launching a fire door and a new door configurator that will link homeowners, installers and the factory to allow homeowners to design their own door.
