Following the announcement last week that the Glass Conference, a joint venture between the organisers of FIT Show, the Glass and Glazing Federation and FENSA, is to be postponed and rescheduled to run alongside next years FIT Show, the organisers have issued the following statement:
“After careful consideration, Glass Conference will no longer run at Telford International Centre this month. The current challenges in the sector, combined with delegates and installers seeking a greater return on investment of their time, has led us to the conclusion that this event would better serve the market if we run it alongside the industry’s only dedicated exhibition, FIT Show.
We cannot be tone deaf to what the market is saying, and must acknowledge the ongoing pressures that are being felt throughout the supply chain, which is why we have collectively reached the decision we have regarding Glass Conference in its current format.
With this in mind, we plan to dedicate a full day to Glass Conference at FIT Show 2025 (Birmingham NEC, 29 April – 1 May.) The conference will be free to attend and will include all of the fantastic content that we have curated, with the added bonus of sitting alongside thousands of industry leading products and innovations on display at FIT Show as well as the plethora of networking opportunities.
