Howarth Timber (Windows & Doors) Ltd, the 47-year-old division of the family-owned Howarth Timber group, has been placed into liquidation at the request of creditors.
A statement on the group’s website announcing the liquidation, adds: “Therefore there is no aftercare support going forward and the Company will not be fulfilling any further remedial or warranty work from this date.
We apologise for the inconvenience. Please see the maintenance part of the website for instructions on maintenance and adjustments which may help with your query.”
The site had formerly listed a full range of window, door and conservatory offerings from many major supplier brands as a part of the 180-year-old Howarth Timber group, which trades from more than 30 branches from northern England to the London area.
The liquidation and voluntary winding up of the business are being handles by David Wilson of DFW Associates, Leeds. Neither the company or the liquidators have issued any further statement.
