Sternfenster has added the Alitherm 400 aluminium casement window in a flush finish.

“When we launched the Alitherm 400 at the start of 2024, it was a continuation of our trend of meeting and exceeding customer demand,” sales director Nathan Court said. “It has slim sightlines, it is high performing, and it is quick and easy to install.

“By launching a flush version of the Alitherm 400, we are supporting our customers as they target the high end of the refurbishment market specifically, where the demand for a sleek flush finish is at its highest.”

Sternfenster’s Alitherm 400 flush casement window achieves a Window Energy Rating of A with a double-glazed unit and 1.2W/m2K with a triple glazed unit (with a centre-pane U-value of 0.8W/m2K).

The 70mm thermally broken aluminium window also passes BS EN 1026 (air permeability), BS EN 1027 (water tightness), BS EN 12211 (wind resistance) and can meet PAS24 or Secured By Design requirements thanks to optional sash claw locks.

It comes with Sternfenster’s new Quickglaze knock-in glazing bead with co-extruded gaskets.

Additional features include dual colour options, trickle vents, triple glazing up to 38.8mm, and mega egress hinges if the window needs to offer a fire escape route.
