Roseview Windows is backing Team Seasoar when they take on the 3,000-mile, non-stop World’s Toughest Row to raise money for Lyme Disease UK.

Roseview heard about Team Seasoar at the G23 Awards, when one of their guests – industry figure Sam Weber – mentioned his role in conversation, as director Paul Bygrave explained:

“When Sam told us about what he’s doing we were awestruck. It’s such a tough challenge but if anyone can do it, Sam and his teammates can.

“We jumped at the chance to sponsor them, supporting both the team and their fantastic choice of charity, Lyme Disease UK. We’ll be following their journey and cheering them on through every stroke, albeit from dry land!”

Lyme Disease UK supports people living with the sometimes devastating effects of Lyme disease. They also provide support for affected families and raise awareness of Lyme disease in the UK.

Sam said: “I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro and taken part in an SAS jungle survival course in the Amazon, but rowing across the Atlantic will be my toughest challenge yet! The World’s Toughest Row will push our physical and mental strength to the limit.

“We’re expecting waves that measure up to 20 feet high, and on average we’ll lose 12kg each, while burning 5,000 calories. By the time the challenge starts we’ll have been training for more than 18 months.”
