Conservatory Outlet and its Premium Retailers Network have raised over £10,000 for Mind ahead of their upcoming 24 Peak Challenge.

Now, with a week to go until the team heads to the starting line in Keswick, the aim is to raise even more funds for the mental health charity.

CEO Greg Kane, who will lead the team, said: “There’s a fantastic team taking part in the 24 Peak challenge and to raise over £10,000 at this stage is an incredible achievement.

“We all genuinely appreciate everyone’s support and words of encouragement as we head into the final stretch and begin our attempt.

The 24 Peak Challenge is one of the toughest hiking trials in the country. Starting and finishing in Keswick, the group will attempt to climb 24 of the Lake District’s highest and toughest peaks in 24-hours.

In total, the group will cover 35 miles and climb over 4,000 metres – a distance and ascent comparable to climbing Ben Nevis three times in succession.

“We’re going into this challenge with our eyes wide open,” Greg continued “Completing that distance in a couple of days is tough enough, but doing so in just 24 hours is something else. Seeing the fundraising total steadily rise and surpass the £10,000 mark has given us extra motivation whilst training.”
