Unique Windows Systems has gained a second award in eight days from its home county, following a LeicestershireLive Business Award for Growth 2023 with two more trophies at the Leicestershire Business Awards.
The fabricator was announced as the winner of the Outstanding Growth Award as well as being shortlisted for Environmental Impact, and Apprentice of the Year, in recognition of maintenance apprentice Kaustubh Vijaikumar.
Unique was announced as the winner of the Outstanding Growth Award due to its ongoing rapid and sustained growth. In the last two years, the business has seen its turnover almost double from £20.8 million to £39.2 million. During the same time period, Unique’s team has also grown by 50% – from 200 to 300 employees.
All of the winners of the thirteen separate award categories on the night were subsequently considered for the overall main award of Leicestershire Business of the Year 2023, which also went to Unique.
