Hardware supplier AT Precision has introduced Recycled Thermal Reinforcement (RTR) bars made from 100% recycled uPVC, following the recent launch of its own in-house recycling scheme, complete with a factory expansion and £370,000 investment in a new extrusion machine.

The scheme sees AT Precision picking up unused or unwanted uPVC materials from its customers, and processing these for use in manufacturing its range of RTR bars.

Sales director Michael Hewitt said: “We are dedicated to playing our role in the preservation of our planet, and we firmly believe that our recent investments in a new recycling scheme as well as our new RTR bars have been truly worthwhile.

“Our innovative recycling scheme has not only expanded our manufacturing facility by an extra 10,000 square feet but has also solidified our commitment to sustainability.

“Meanwhile, the new RTR system delivers a multitude of benefits for both the environment and for our customers, including enhanced thermal efficiency, quick and easy installation, and an impressive minimum lifespan of 35 years.”
