Walsall-based Select Windows (Home Improvement) Ltd has achieved PAS 24:2016 with its Liniar Composite Residential Door System which uses the Distinction Doors 44.5mm GRP faced composite door blank and Liniar composite door profile.

Operations director Nigel Court said: “We worked closely with our suppliers and the test house to ensure the door system passed robustly. The fact the Distinction Doors blank holds Secured by Design status gave confidence. As a fellow Secured by Design member, we appreciate what it takes to achieve this, and as a Distinction Doors fabricator, we are grateful for the reassurance it brings.”

Distinction Doors associate director of sales Elliott Dawson said: “Select Windows is a valued customer, and we are incredibly proud to support them in this latest achievement. We attained Secured by Design status on our Signature, nxt-gen and fire door blanks for exactly this purpose – to support our Secured by Design fabricators in making the ultimate enhanced security composite doorset.

Sample doorsets were independently tested by UL Solutions.
