All-round vision

This week saw the first public statement by a one-time smallish patio door business that has been very quietly growing by acquisition into the kind of business that is likely to be a lot harder to keep quiet in future.

Now the gain of the former Epwin Glass operation means Alan Rees’s Panoramic Group is fulfilling the metaphor of its name with an all-round vision embracing aluminium and PVC-U fabrication as well as IGU processing and, in its own words, the ‘Swiss army knife’ of bi-fold, French and sliding patio doors.

loses ‘betrayal’ claim against Mitu Misra

A judge has left Safestyle co-founder John Ross to pick up ‘several million pounds’ of legal costs after dismissing a claim by him that his then partner Mitu Misra had ‘reneged on a deal’ over a package of nearly £27million of shares in the company, and that the ‘betrayal’ had led to his insolvency.
