The BOING BOING GROUP has announced further investment across its PVC-U and aluminium fabrication companies, with the addition of new machinery and factory expansion to its base in the West Midlands.
“2018 was a pivotal year for The Boing Boing Group,” said Group CEO Gary Morton, “CentralRPL has completed the full system move to Optima, including the addition of the Flush Casement and our aluminium business. CentralASL continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve introduced a complete end-to end colour service, Central Inspired, which allows customers to choose any product in any colour.
“Whilst continuing to deliver on customer expectations, we’ve also been working hard behind the scenes to make these changes and everything is starting to come together. We have a great team in place and are delivering an exceptional product range, backed up by excellent service. As we look forward to the next 12 months, service and further product development will continue to be at the core of our strategy, but what we need is the right tools and space to support this.
“To this end, when the unit adjacent to our existing factory in West Bromwich became available, we jumped at the chance to expand. We have decided to dedicate this additional 7,500ft2 to our more specialist products such as the Flush Casement and TimberCore composite doors, and as a result had the opportunity to reconfigure some of our other production lines and create space for new machinery to improve overall capacity.
“While CentralRPL’s PVC-U lines has been a main focus during the system move, CentralASL’s has been quietly outgrowing its original aluminium production line. We have therefore invested in a new Emmegi 4 axis CNC machine to boost production capacity by 30%.”
