Board appointments

UAP has made several key appointments to broaden its management team. David Pearson, former MD of Wickes, joins as chairman, Tim Fairly, formerly MD of Performance Doorset Solutions becomes group commercial director, Stewart Lamb, former MD at Vita becomes export sales director, Pat Rice, formerly sales director at Masco and Bonnie Hodson from Trutex is appointed as chief financial officer.

David Jennings, founder and former managing director, continues as CEO, an appointed role following the buy-out by Maven Capital Partners last year.

He said:“The new team has breadth and depth, and is without question amongst the best in the industry.

“They bring high quality door manufacturing, specification, retail, commercial and financial experience to complement our already strong management team. We will be encouraging customers to draw on our collective knowledge and experience, and benefit from this core strength.”
