‘First’ claim for foil upgrade

PROFINE GROUP, with its brands KBE, Kömmerling and Trocal, and in co-operation with Renolit SE says it is the first international systems provider to introduce the enhanced Renolit Exofol PX laminate as standard.

The structure of the Renolit Exofol PX laminate gives the PVC-U window profile a particularly long-lasting protection compared with the standard MX foil, with results including improved UV protection and as a consequence, better colour fastness and resistance to weathering.

There are also extended warranties of up to 15 years in the darker colours.

Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine, explained the move: “A high-quality decor laminate range is one of the pillars of our colour strategy. With the new Renolit Exofol PX laminates from our long-term partner, we offer our customers a future-oriented and patented product with a real added value.”

Profine Group has been successively converting the Renolit Exofol MX to the Renolit Exofol PX laminate Since March 2017. Since the laminates do not differ optically, the two types can be processed with one another without problem.
