Interesting times

For anyone who thinks 2018 was a real headline machine for the fenestration industry, there are mumblings out there that seem to be saying ‘just wait till you see what 2019 has in store’. True, it would be hard to beat some of this year’s episodes on the battlefields of Bradford for pure drama, not to mention the squabbles and dummy-spitting in a few high places – and that is before we go near anything to do with the ‘B’ word. But some would now have it that there are many more interesting times yet to come.

Of course, the ‘B’ word is far from over and as this weeks top story shows, the fallout from Safestyle v Safeglaze is still biting hard into many industry players, so perhaps it is a little premature to be talking of dramas yet to unfold. We will see.
