The Joinery Network has announced it is to exhibit at the 2021 virtual Homebuilding and Renovating Show.

The Network, a co-operative of timber window and door manufacturers, will be launching the new Lignum timber window and door system to homeowners as well as promoting the benefits of choosing timber for self-build, refurbishment and renovation projects.

Andy Ball, Founder Director at The Joinery Network and Managing Director of Balls2 Marketing, said: “It’s a great way to meet people looking for home improvements and while it won’t be face to face this year, we are hoping to get some good conversations with homeowners looking at choosing timber windows and doors.

“There’s always been an interest for real timber windows. However, many homeowners can only get their hands on timber-replica PVCu windows. Concerns about climate change are causing consumers to make more ethical buying choices, and there’s a growing desire for sustainable products. That’s why we created Lignum – a direct response to the need for easily accessible, certified timber windows in the UK.

“We’re looking forward to speaking directly with homeowners to let them know about our network of certified joinery manufacturers who can offer PAS 24:2016, weather tested timber windows and doors through our licences.”

The Lignum range includes fully tested and accredited flush casement, box sash and spring balance vertical sliding windows, along with French, single, entrance and bifold doors.
