Conservatory Outlet and its retailers have topped £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support a month ahead of their planned attempt at the National three Peaks Challenge, and now say they’re setting their sights on £6K.

“I’m immensely proud of our fundraising efforts,” said CEO Greg Kane (pictured, right, with team-matesTricia Kane and Neil Spencer). “We have a fantastic team taking part in this challenge, and we all wanted to do it for a worthy cause.

“To raise over £5,000 is an incredible achievement. I want to thank all those who have donated so far and encourage others to do so. We really appreciate your support as we raise funds for Macmillan, one of the UK’s biggest and most important charities.”

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) in 24 hours.

Greg added: “We’ve been putting the miles in as we build up to our attempt. Seeing the fundraising total skyrocket has given us extra motivation to keep pushing. Only 40% of people who attempt the National Three Peaks complete it within 24 hours. We know we’ll be up against it, but the amazing support of our family, friends and the industry will spur us on!”

The attempt is taking place on Tuesday, 13th June.
