Brisant-Secure has won the Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category for its Ultion KeyTag integrated smart key.

The company says the key was chosen from over twenty thousand entries after it impressed the judges with its special integrated design quality. It was assessed against its degree of innovation in functionality, quality, ergonomics and durability. The annual award was decided by a panel of 50 international experts who tested, evaluated and discussed each entry.

The winners come from more than seventy countries, with past winners including Seiko, Dyson, Shark, Honda and the Apple watch series 4 and 7.

KeyTag finds lost Ultion keys in a matter of minutes by sounding an alarm https://www.the-glazine.com/?p=7473. It  works with the Apple Find My app that is already into the iPhone operating system, so there is no app to install, and the Ultion Key can be found in the same way as a lost iPhone or iPad.

With all the functionality, power and sounder in the body of the key, it’s still only 11mm thin, so looks and feels like a normal house key.
