A conservatory with extensive views over the Brecon Beacons was given ‘a more substantial feel’ as well as a more consistently comfortable temperature with a transformation including the addition of an Ultraroof tiled roof system from Ultraframe, fitted by Monmouthshire Conservatory Company.
“Our old conservatory was very cold, and it leaked and so we were only able to use it on very warm days,” said the homeowner, “When we first began to think about transforming it into a more usable space our main aims were to address the coldness and leaks, and also to bring a more substantial room-like feel to the space.”
She continued: “We use it far more than the previous one, for reading, eating, having friends round, and more. The windows are much larger than those on the previous conservatory and so our views over the Brecon Beacons and our garden are much clearer and the new technology in the frames and roof means that we are assured of its energy efficiency.”
