Technical Fire Safety Group with its Pyroguard and Fire Glass UK brands, is to join forces with the svt Group of Companies, following a buy-out of the group by Ergon Capital, backers of the svt Group.

TFSG CEO Neil Tilsley said: “The Technical Fire Safety Group and svt Group of Companies complement each other perfectly, manufacturing both fire safety glass and fire protection seals – amongst many other passive fire safety products.

“The two products (glass and seals) are part of the same solution, with both products only fulfilling their purpose together. Combining forces, both companies can become even stronger and more resilient and, at Pyroguard, it’s exciting to be a part of that.”

Dr Jens Reiners, CEO svt Group of Companies, said: “Together we will expand our product portfolio and be able to offer our customers solutions from a single source. We also complement each other very well geographically.”

The companies say there will be no layoffs, job transfers, or job changes for employees in connection with the merger. The management team of Technical Fire Safety Group will remain in place.

Headquartered in the North West of England with ten operating locations, Technical Fire Safety Group has over 400 employees and revenues in over 40 countries.
