Emplas installer Global Windows has donated £4,045 to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice after pledging £5 for every window and door it put in since launching the initiative in May.

“Since May last year, we’ve carried out 809 installations across South Yorkshire, which adds up to £4,045 in donations to Bluebell Wood, something which we’re very proud to have achieved,” says managing director Liam Hulme.

Samantha Wood, Head of Fundraising at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re incredibly lucky to have the support of such a community-spirted local business who’ve raised an incredible sum over the past 12 months.

“The funds raised through Global Windows’ innovative initiative have helped us make truly priceless memories that local children and families will always treasure.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to Global Windows for a fantastic year and we look forward to working closely together over the coming 12 months.”

Last August, the company also sponsored a hole in one competition at the Bondhay Golf Club Captains Charity Golf Day, an event that helped to raise over £6,700 for the charity.
