In the year that Tiger Woods won his first PGA championship, the EU introduced the Euro, and the London Eye was first unveiled to the public, five new starters began their career at HOPPE (UK).

Now, 25 years later, finance director Andrew Biggs, sales administrator Lynne Murray, logistics manager Christopher Mills, distribution centre supervisor Dave Murray, and stock controller Dave Lane are celebrating their silver work anniversaries.

Ged Ryan, CEO of HOPPE (UK), said:

“To have so many people celebrating such a milestone in one year is a true testament to the team we’ve built here. Over half of the UK team has been with the business for more than 10 years, and it’s the loyalty of the HOPPE (UK) team that is at the heart of our success and first class customer service.”

While HOPPE has been established in the UK for more than 35 years, this year also marks 25 years since HOPPE (UK) moved into its purpose-built distribution centre and head office in Gailey Way, Wolverhampton. On average, 350 orders leave the 50,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution centre every day, being sent as far north as Inverness and as far south as the Channel Islands.
