Kubu has received further third-party recognition of its products and their ability to contribute to a smart home.
At the recent National Fenestration Awards 2023, the business won the Door Component of the Year category for its window and door smart sensors. The award for Window Component of the Year also went to the ‘GreenteQ iQ ‘Works with Kubu’ window lock from VBH.
This product is designed to be equipped with a Kubu sensor, either during the initial fabrication of the window or to be retrofitted with a sensor after the window has been installed.
Kubu co-founder Ryan Bromley said: “Our two wins demonstrate an important point of differentiation about our offer. Specifically, that we can provide sensor technology for both windows and doors rather than just doors alone.
